Introducing Sasha!

I am so glad to formally introduce Sasha, who is an experienced and inspirational leader. With more than 20 years in the field of Education, she provides caring, personalized learning support for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Her skills are wide spread; offering assistance in French, English, reading, writing, mathematics, French Immersion, English language learning, and academic skill development. Sasha believes in having a positive mindset as a teacher and to use intentional language, such as “I GET to teach and learn a new skill”, rather than “I HAVE to”. Her approach is patient, encouraging, and she genuinely believes that helping students know their strengths will lead them to feeling more successful as learners. As an excellent teacher, she works to learn more about a child by making connections with them to find out about their needs and learning styles.

Sasha not only is a positive role model and natural leader, she comes from a formal leadership position as a principal of a school in the Northwest Territories where she made a lasting difference in the community she worked with.
